how will changing old anchortext keywords with new keyords effect my SERPS

Hi guys,

I have this huge project to change old anchor text links that begin with the sites name into the keywords that we want to rank for. So now I have to contact all the sites that link with us to change the anchor text

But I was wondering if this is going to be worth it, and will it have a better impact on my SERPS?

What do you guys think?

I think it's good to issue relevant new pages with new sets of keywords.

 

don't replace your anchor text in new one key words which you wants to target. but make new page and with relevant content and target your those key words with anchor text.

 

Thanks guys for your answers, so it's best not to change the old links. But has anyone tried it before?

 

From my experience it will effect your serps you can add new keyword instead of changing it to new one.
