Well, nothing lasts forever. We have seen how sporting dynasties crumble after long periods of domination. In fact, once they start going downhill, the descent is pretty rapid.

Anyway it makes sense that 1 billion people should have more power than 300 million, so the sooner it happens the better.

Its just a shame that China is currently oppressed by its government, hopefully there will be a revolution soon. Actually, a revolution is inevitable.

China? That is ridiculous to think that China of all countries will become more powerful than the United States. China is way to over populated to ever become the superpower and maintain that title. They would quickly run out of supplies if they didn't imperialize other countries which the united states would never let happen.

China have the second fastest growing economy on the planet. Their large population seems to have done nothing but help their economy, Increase production and Increase spending.

I disagree with that assessment. China relies heavily upon the US. It was the US (I believe Nixon) that went to great efforts to open trade with China.

I believe the mujahadeen are getting money and aid from both Syria and Iran. Probably other muslim countries as well.

The planet where daily self-loathing about one's country is the exception, not the rule.

As long as the economy continues to grow, I seriously doubt there will be any revolution. Inevitable just is not a word I would use....

China has been making all the moves to secure the resources they need for a long time now. Look at all the trade deals they are setting up with various countries in Africa. In few cases China is the largest trade partner with mineral/resource-rich countries. I believe they will not run out of the supplies they need.

Don't underestimate China, it could be a fatal mistake.
