The title says it all. I have two medium soccer sites and I am pushing soccer betting programs, but no still no conversion. Also the click rate seems to be low. Do you have any experience with this on general soccer sites (not on betting-related sites)? I guess the question is aimed more to european webmasters.
i had a football site.....and none of the soccer betting sponsors ads got converted because people dont trust the ads.....they would rather go to the original site and place their bets. they wouldnt be wandering around and enter your site and sign up thru your site.....
Hi I have a soccer site but it is only 6 weeks old. i have had clicks on mine but no converstions & am wondering myself how to promote them better cheers.
i think, and im guessing, that sites like football ones take time .... expecially with betting... people need to trust the site, then they will place bets ... my 2 cents anyway
iit_m2002, I use mostly odds ads. What's to trust on that tipe of ad? ;D I guess is very simple and intuitive. As for trust, there are a lot of betting companies who are sponsors to big soccer clubs in Europe. I am gonna push them on this EURO tournament and see how it goes. If they don't convert now, they will never convert, at least not with my type of traffic. To all, you should try to sell some merchandise like thsirts, balls or, even better, tickets.
