I'm wondering what you think of my progress these past 11 months, I started with nothing, then decided to make a blog with a friend of mine, my stats are as follows: Pagerank: 4 Alexa Rating: 1,850,911 Technorati Rank / Authority: 137,176 / 42 Backlinks: 669 Visual PageRank Stats: December doesn't really count cause that's when I had switched to my current host from my old one.
I've made quite a bit in my opinion, not from ad programs (I was making shit from that) but blog posts, I'd say I've made at least 200$ altogether. But that has been within the past few months not the whole year.
PR4 seems pretty low for a site that's been around almost a year (to me at least). Nearly all of my sites jump to at least PR4 right away, and I've had several go to PR5 on their first update. From looking at the site, it seems to be updated pretty regularly, so I'm even more surprised it's not higher. Are you doing much to get backlinks? Everything seems to be rather short on there now. Perhaps writing a few longer pieces (natural linkbait) would help you hit the next level. Of course this doesn't even matter a whole lot unless you're planning to sell links on the site for PR value. Alexa's a bit high for that age too, but that depends a lot on your audience, so I wouldn't really pay any serious attention to that.
