How We Get "likes" ?

Joined around 3 years before but the like feature makes me look like a newbie. I think I will have to start from the scratch. No problem I will once again become a good and reliable member of DigitalPoint.

With only 3 posts in 3 years, how do you expect to have any likes?

p.s. With your lackluster previous 3 years here you were never established in the old system either. What a joke your complaint is.

 

Excuse me!!! When did I complain? I said I will start from the beginning again and be a good valuable member.

 

English is not my native language so it is really hard to understand complex and difficult sentences.

You obviously found this thread and then thought, instead of reading it for the answer, I will spam it by asking the same question again and wait for someone to write a new answer. That type of spammy post should get you kicked off this forum and will not get you any likes.

If you are too stupid to read this thread and instead just posting a question that has been answered dozens of times then you probably wont get, and don't deserve, any likes.

Bullshit. Stupid posts because someone is too lazy to read are just that, stupid posts. All questions are not meaningful and worthy, especially when they have been asked and answered in this very thread. You are just lazy and wasting people's time.

you must read all comments here, a lot of them is not to know and make other question again... so, let's be democracy.

 

It has nothing to do with Democracy.
Surely everyone is free to ask question however, we should understand the basic things:

1. Whenever we come to each thread, Make sure to read from the start till the end. Don't say: "It will take lots time". Actually you may get lots information just by reading it. Anyone whom posting new post without reading the whole thread basically risking themselves to receive warning.
2. Read before asking. Make sure to read the whole thread.
3. Avoid asking question which already asked by another people. Read the whole thread. One of the reason why three likes exist is due lots of people asking 'repetitive question'.
   Repetitive question maybe considered as spam.
4. Repetitive question may not only fall in 'spam' but also in 'increasing post count'. Double mistakes are not good idea as it will result in double warning.

Whenever we need to ask question, the first place to read is HELP SECTION and Stickies.

I thinkt he new site and everything is nice but it is a bit crazy that I have been here for years and now I have to get likes. I mean by being here years and etc it would seem if you are not banned then you are a good member. So now I got to hope someone likes what I say?
