Most people's social page is just outright bland or boring, and whatever traffic they draw, it's very low quality low conversion traffic (like literally less than 0.1%). Nowhere near search engine traffic. I expect most people will fail horribly with social network marketing, me included. I have better luck with SEO overall.

could you explain that how to use orkut for website traffic increase because i have used but as yet could not get any visitor from orkut...so i want know how to use orkut website...for making too traffic on our website...

 

Free versions: article marketing, you can use facebook, twitter or sites like that. you can spread the word through your email list. You can also use forums in that particular niche. Just type in social networking followed by forums in the google search.

Paid versions: PPC with adwords or yahoo or even msn if you have a budget. Or you can have banners made then put then pay to have them put on other sites or do banner exchange.
