    If I install a widget onto my website ... but hidden. Will it increase the rankings?

    For every visitor (who don't have alexa toolbar) will also access the hidden widget on the site. Thus registering a visit.


    Can anyone verify

    I've trying to increase my rankings above 50,000 and I haven't been able to ... I know I have regular traffic (around 8,000 UNIQUES a day) ...

    You can buy traffic for dirt cheap but like everyone else said... it's pointless.
    Actually, I take that back. If you have the most traffic for a certain category then they might put you on a special page and you'll get a PR5-7 link. But yeah... alexa rank is pointless
