in new version of BlogSpot we can add google ads but there it just ask about Pub-ID. how we can check status in our account if we dont create any channel for BlogSpot?
You can create a new widget and use it as another component, just like siderbar or header. But however, the flexibility what the previous blogger templates used to offer doesn't seem to be there anymore . Non programmers feel it a bit cluttered or those who have been used to the old blogger templates mostly do. ~G
even when i used to have adsense that problem cam to me. but i think you can solve this problem easily. 1st let that new window box get open full and then only you click to adsense add button. and i think this is the way to not get pub id.
i have solved this problem by using "Ad page element >>> HTML/Java script" here i paste adsense code and now its working fine.

I've made blog about how to add adsense channels so maybe it helps to someone One question: when I delete channel,will my channel counter (xxx/200) give number back or I must modify instead of deleting next time?
The adsense interface has changed. Sites are now counted as well and I wonder, if blogspots that have adsense installed through "monetize" do count as separate channels.
