How was your life in 2008?

For me it was an utter failure!

I quit my day job and wanted to try my fortune in online business.

My adsense earnings went down to the rock bottom.
Considerable losses in Stock Market
Nothing seemed to work well.

But just one thing was consoling.
The website I had developed in the past rewarded financially with some passive income (for atleast 10 months). But now its all exhausted.

I am thinking if I should go back to the same old call center job where I got 5 figures income, weekend offs and some other benefits.
How about yours? And also some personal advice on my career would be highly appreciated.

 

MY First half of this 2008 was not so good , no earning at all but my second half was excellent , now i reach to 2000$ per month levels. hope i will touch 10000$ per month levels in 2009 !

earning is increasing like febonacci series. example first i earned 500$ per month then reach to 700$ then 1500$ now 2200$ per month

My life in 2008 was not that good its good now in december it started with some good stuff hope it continues same in the coming year

 

Yeah! it's really good, I just got the right girl for my life. I got engaged.

 

Can't change what happened in 08, good or bad.

it was a very blessed 2008 for me..

 

It was a boring and flat year for me and there's no sign 2009 will get better.

 

It was ordinary year with no ups and downs.

 

same here...nothing happened this year that I would remember 20 years from now....

 

If we talking about life as a webmaster. It was good as expected.

But we always want more, don't we?

 

It was a learning process, and im happy of what i learned from it.

 

I will rate my 2008 as good . In 2006 I started searching for money and its ending i finished earning $5 to $8 monthly . In 2007 I did hard work and joined dp Than finished up with earning $50 to $ 80 per month . In 2008 I went mad and now i am earning $$$ per month only and i am just few $$ back from four figures . I hope in 2009 my earning cn cross 3 digits and enter in four digits .

Lets hope for the best .

I'd be interested to hear what strategies you've used to achieve such a ramping up of revenue.
