Most of my family are moderate to hardline atheists.... and although we've always participated in Christmas ('for the kids'), it's always been in the name of something that most of us despise and ridicule. We may as well be celebrating Ramadan, Hanukkah, or Tooth Fairy Day. This year's Christmas was kinda pathetic, and we all knew it (including my 98 year old grandfather). So we've made a family decision to give up on "Christmas", and instead have a massive mid year family get together.
Yep same here its just another day in our household,people these days dont really celebrate it for its religous reason its one big brainwashing session on how much money they can extract from us all.Could be wrong though
Christmas went fine for me, not the best of christmas day's I've had in the past, but still enjoyable. Lots of chocolates, cakes and ice creams !
It wasn't bad, enjoyed it more than last year, hope everyone else enjoyed theirs too. Ive come to realise that my 3 youngest nephews are never fully satisfied, no matter how many gifts they are given they still ask if theres anymore, i blame their mum though, (my sister) and if i have kids i will make sure they are not like that.
Christmas was good for me except for all this snow, I had 10in coming out of my front door that I had to use all my strength to push open. But I thank God for allowing me to wake up and enjoy the day!
