How valuable or accurate are keywords suggested by Google?

When you type something in Google toolbar’s search box, you will see a drop-down menu listing more keywords or phrases that Google suggest based on their search popularity. You will also see other suggestions like spelling check or from your own search history.

So how valuable are those search suggestions? Are those the actual keywords that people search the most in Google? Or maybe from toolbar searches only? If anyone has figured out how frequent they are updated, that’d be very helpful too.

I’ve noticed the keywords do not necessary agree with Overture’s, so was wondering how to take better advantage of this feature. Thanks.

I am not sure that is on popularity, i think it is based on the number of results.

The keywords that are of the most importance I feel are the ones in the G keyword tool that says... say if you type in dog training then G will say more keywords....The important ones that you should look at first are sorted by relevance because this will help you build a wide synomic site..Use these keywords because they carry the most weight to your site..yes traffic is important but these relevant keywords will help you stay more on topic and help build authority
