How valuable a comment from PR7 page with dofollow

I found a PR7 page related to one of my sites on a blog that has PR5. I left comment. The comment does not have NOFOLLOW and it has PR7.

Is that useful? Is it as getting PR7 link?

I was attracted by your "dofollow" in the title of this thread since
    it is new to me.

Since Google is the only SE not indexing "nofollow" links, it is still alright to
post comments where there are "nofollow" links.

Another less explored technique is to get high pr backlinks from dot edu sites.

If the page is saturated with links its value will go down a little.

If i understand your question correctly, its treated as a 'separate' domain, much like youtube videos. Each individual video has its own PR, blogspot subdomains also have their own PR.

Eddiemoses, good job with the BL. Keep at it and just a friendly word of advise, stay away from BL blasts, keep up with the authority BL's. Ive made my domain a PR4 in about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks time just by getting high PR backlinks (higher PR doesnt mean higher ranking for your site)

Another note, I've also attained BL from higher PR sites that was NOT related at all to my niche and still counted, yet you want the majority of them to be related. HTH
