I have noticed a while ago, about this "new" content creation tool offered by Google called KNOL. It is like a space where you write your expert reviews. Sort of an ezinearticle- meets- Blogspot. My first impression was that this tool would be preferred by Google because it is part of their toys, but actually, when I do some research for any article I need to write about, I never find Knol articles appearing not even near the top ten, 20, 30 If someone has a successful story about it, I would like to hear about it.
Knol articles are not like ones that will bring traffic from searches. It is more or less like a branded medium. When I say branded what I mean is think of google itself. It is a brand name. We do not go to google searching anywhere else. We go directly typing in the URL. So knol too people will reach there and follow others articles to find yours. It is a kind of closed viral traffic
