How Up to Date are Azoogle's Stats?

For Conversions and Clicks? Just curious as I seem to be sending traffic to their merchant landing pages, however the clicks don't seem to be updated that frequently.

Does anyone know if there's a lag in their reporting, and if so how much do you experience? Are conversions reported immediately?

Any insight would be appreciated :)

From past experience, I'm pretty sure there is a very minimal lag on most offers (15 minutes at most). It might be a little more on other offers... but it's pretty quick reporting.

    Thanks webgenesis!

Hey I was hoping I could ask you a quick question as you're one of the ringtone gurus :) I just created a campaign and I ended up getting 1000 clicks (today) and out of that 100 made it to my landing page to select your carrier. From there, I only had 16 people make it to the carrier page and had zero conversions.

With this equation, it seems like I need to improve the quality of my own landing page as it doesn't seem like enough is making it to the carrier page. Am I correct?

Also, do you know what percentage should make it to your own LP? And from that LP, what is the percentage that makes it to the carrier page? From AJ's $1000/day thread, he said that 1 in 80 converted, and I think he said 1 in 8 who make it to the carrier page convert. But he never mentioned how many actually make it to his own LP.

I am getting the clicks (not sure about the quality of clicks yet) and I'm able to funnel to my ringtone LP, but from there I cannot convert.

    No problem, Spliffic...

Are you using AJ22 method of using a transition page... then sending them to your ringtones page... and then to the merchant? If so... I think your numbers aren't too bad.

If you are sending customers straight from the Search/Content to your ringtones LP (my method)... then to the merchant, then your numbers are pretty horrible friend.

    My numbers look like this:

    * About 70% of people click through from my ringtones LP to the merchant.
    * About 1:9 people who get to the merchant page make a purchase. This month, the ratio is more of 1:11 to 1:12 are converting.

I would say make sure your ringtones LP is quick loading, doesn't have too much distraction on it (too many words, too many graphics, too much junk)...

Make sure it has a strong headline at the top... and a clear call-to-action, such as: Get Your Bonus Spliffic Ringtones Today, Select Your Carrier from Below.

    Thanks man, appreciate your advice!

I am currently using AJ's method as it's the cheapest way to get clicks. So basically yesterday, I had the following stats:

1000 visitors to my "irrelevant" LP
227 visitors clicked from my irrelevant LP to my "choose your carrier" (CYC) LP
12 vistors chose their carrier and went to the Merchant LP
    0 converted

I would think out of 1000 people, I should have alot more clicking to the merchant's landing page, especially if more than 20% of my visitors are interested in ringtones as they're going to my CYC LP.

I have pretty much the same LP as what you see out there for CYC, so I'm wondering why I'm not getting clicks through that page.

I was also using Thumbplay but I read in another thread that it wasn't converting very well for them lately so I though I would try Dada today.

Do you think those numbers are about right for this type of strategy?

Are you using a Google compliant merchant LP (with the checkbox)? If not, don't use it. Kills conversions.

Hey AJ, thanks for stepping in!

No I'm not using a Google compliant page, so I don't think that's the issue. I have this mornings stats (I didn't setup a "goal" yesterday until late in the day so I didn't have the exact number of clicks from my irrelevant LP to my ringtones LP), and this is what I'm looking at (yesterday I spent waaaay too much money for testing as I ended up blowing $100 for nothing, today I am going to scale it down a bit!).

50 visitors to my irrelevant LP
36 click to my ringtones LP!
Only 1 click to the merchant LP
    0 conversions

I am getting great CTR from my irrelevant to my ringtones page, but from there it seems like the numbers all die down. I think it's a good thing that people are actually "taking the bait" so-to-speak (my little twist to put them in a buying mood - as I've read over your famous thread about 3 times now) and going to my ringtones lander, but from that to the merchant is what sucks.

Do you have a dynamic ringtones LP, where the content changes to what the user is looking for (e.g. "Download Fergie Ringtones Here")? Or is it very generic "Get Your Complimentary Ringtones Here"? I am just worried that people may think that my ringtones LP looks amateurish or doesn't appeal to them wanting to click further. That's why I asked about how up to date Azoogle's stats are, because I was getting so many clicks my own ringtones LP, but hardly any seeped through to the merchant LP.
