How unique does an article have to be to be indexed? If I completely rewrite each sentence and add a few sentences, delete a few, change the subheadings - is that a unique article that should get indexed by Google? Or does Google have the ability to get the gist of the article and say that the total "meaning" of the article is the same. For example are "advertise rental flats" and "market rental properties" different in Google's eyes. I ask as I've had some problems recently trying to get articles indexed wven when I have done all of the above and have created a few blog comments back to them, pinged them etc.
This is just me - but I would sumarize the article. Rewrite the article in my own words. If I have to do another copy - rewrite it again in my own words from the second copy. You'll be surprised to see how many ways to can rewrite an article that basically looks different from the others.
A unique article is a unique article. If the article is even 90% unique it's called "copied". Articles don't have to be unique to get indexed by google.
1-2 months - so articles can get indexed after this time????? I thought if they weren't indexed in first month or so Google had rejected/missed them and wouldn't go back? For example, I've had a couple of unique articles on work.com for a month or so now - have posted blog comments to thema nd have also left comments on work.com articles which in turn obviously link back to my profile. Sof far the articles are unindexed.
I've seen most estimates put it at about 30%. That being said, I know you need to change your title tag for sure on all of them.
Be sure to change the title...and no advertise rental flats and market rental properties are NOT same when it comes to bot. I'd however suggest to make the articles really unique instead of having them rewritten
I go by the rule that 1 in every 4 words different means unique. The best is test it with copyscape. In fact, article spinner works on practically this concept. "Making money online" and "Making cash online" are completely different sets of keywords. "I want to lose weight" is different from "You desire weight loss".
Getting an article indexed as far as I know has nothing to do with it, becoming unique or not. In terms of a site or article getting index, I do social bookmarking. i use socialmarker.net Its important that you make lots of articles as to make the article marketing effective. I use easyarticlespinner.net to create newer versions of my content.
