How twitter help the webmasters?

recently, I have been seeing so many sites with the word "Twitter". What is it and how can it help the webmasters?

 

Twitter is a Social Networking site, like Orkut, Facebook, Hi5, Hikut, Yuwie etc...

it is just for fun, u can't get anything good with twitter.

twitter pages have high PR. Aldo the ability for many users to view you page.
Twitter offers you to place you website's link (though nofollow). But with so much exposure....you are bound to get visits to your site from ppl. following your page.

 

hello friends i agree that twitter is a social site but i not agree that by twitter divert traffic. if you know anyone please how increase traffic website...clear my doubt..

 

Twitter can bring traffic for sure. It helped me a lot.

 

Twitter amounts to large amounts of traffic. If you are a webmaster, have many people follow your twitter links to your website.

Social media marketing is a great way to get traffic.

I have been using it for over a year, I just can say that Twitter has a huge market share currently to create new products based on twitter. Like new applications or new websites. It has about 4 million users daily, so why don't you turn it into a benefit.

Friend, are you using Twitterfeed for ur blog promotion on Twitter. If yes, then wait for your followers to increase in number. As the no. of followers increases, you get more traffic....can say it is directly proportional.
For increasing your followers no. , just add ur Twitter link to your blog so dat ur site visitors know dat u have Twitter account and can follow u if they feel.
