Hi guys. I have a basic question. Please help. How traditional retailers find wholesalers? I am open retail account with wholesaler for my online business but the thing is I am not being able to find that much good wholesaler. I am searching on google. But a a traditional retailer will not search it on google. So how they find their wholesalers? I will just follow their route to find some wholesaler I can work with for my online wholesale business on amazon or ebay. Thank you.
Well, most retailers, online or offline, know how to use Google and I am sure that they do. However, brick and mortar retailers are more likely to build up relationships with wholesalers, manufacturers, etc., via various networking opportunities, be they trade shows or even just asking the salespeople who call on them regularly. They also have skilled, sourcing buyers who are specialists that also know how to use commercially available databases and other such sources of information.
