How toolbars make money (zwinky and etc)

    ya read the terms and conditions and you will understand how

    hint: since they are plugged into your browser they can collect information, information can be sold

    actually i said the whole thing, that was more than a hint

    I cant even see their website (zwinky) because its on the restricted website list.....

    I was talking about the restricted website list from Internet Explorer 7, if its updated regularly many websites are added and crap like zwinky wont open unless you take that website off the Restricted sites list...

    Go to tools, options and security, you will see hundreds of bad sites.

    Often these sort of toolbars track you surfing and display what they describe as " useful promotions" - so basically ads and pop ups.
