How tomake simple Graphic banners for Free ? (looking for a software)

    I want to design few standard banners to be used as advertisement for my site and want to know about any free tool or software which make decent looking banners.

    search in google for gimp
    its pretty decent. i havent used it so much but from what i have seen its almost good as photoshop

    or just download photoshop. They have the 30 day trial thing. After that, there are other "tools" you can use with photoshop. I won't say what kind of "tools" since i don't remember if those kind of "tools" are allowed on this forum.
