Just curious if there are any pointers or tips for writing a "Terms of Use" for a website. Thanks, Ivan
The article is flawed on some points. You can write all you want about what people can and can't do, but if what you write is not legally accurate, it is void. In fact, you can void your whole contract if this arises and your wording is not proper. Also, when it comes to privacy, there are many issues to look at. First of all, your business has no right to privacy. Second, did you know that those deemed to be in the "public eye" has less privacy rights than some guy in Montana working at 7-11? Because your website is on the Internet, and available to all, it could be deemed that you the owner are in the public eye. The article was more about media defamation, which is very hard to prove in a court of law, than about actual law regarding privacy and copyright.
Whos to say that one was legal? The only real way is to pay a someone qualified to do it then you get it done.
I totally agree. However, our operations do not have the resources to do so at this time. Its currently 3 people doing a complete TV show. I'll share the link once its done. Cheers, Ivan
