How to write Privacy page?

    First, I'd ask that you keep personal feelings out of what CAN be a decent conversation. Second, I think you're misunderstaning my point. When you say "I expect that some human probably at least skims every complaint."

    That IS my point! No complaint will ever be ignored. And I agree, when it warrants, a full investigation can be sought. But if I, as a "yokel" file a complaint with the FTC you can guaruntee I would expect that it at the very least went into an investigation if not by the FTC, on a local level.

    And if that comment was directed at me, no, I am not totally ignorant in the ways the government works. But that's for another topic...

    Unfortunately, those are unrealistic expectations. Take the police department for a similar example. Anyone can file a report with them, but unless it's worth investigating they are not going to assign a detective to it. Your report with get filed neatly away in one of their huge filing cabinets. If you are involved in a car accident and call the police to come out and file a report, they will refuse to if they are too busy and there are no injuries.
