How to write my mobile number for twitter?

    I keep trying to open a twitter account, but can't write my mobile number. I dont have a regular phone. had it disconnected.

    However, they write the country code, and after that I write my mobile number. Can't get rid of the country code, can't erase it. When I write my mobile number, the computer writes it's an error.

    anyone knows how to get around this problem?
