How to Write Good Content for Your Website

    You probably heard the phrase content is king. There is no doubt you should be able to write good content if you want to run a business online or a blog. However, we cannot write great content all day and every day. That is why it is important to keep in mind why are you writing the article. This will help you be efficient about the job in hand.

    Writing Content for Your Website or Blog
    You should publish your best content on your own site. A great writing requires an idea, research and planning. You could take your time if you are going to make the most of it by placing it on your own property. You know it is going to be safe there and nobody will throw your hard work away carelessly.

    If you don’t have your best work on you blog or site you don’t have much to promote. Furthermore, you don’t have to publish on your website very often if you can come up with great ideas and writing each time you do.

    How to Extend the Life of a Content Idea?
    Once you publish your article on your site you can use the same idea and thoughts over and over and still come up with original work. There are hundred different ways of arguing the same point. You shouldn’t even need to look at your original piece to write another similar article since you are the one who had the idea in the first place.

    Does it mean that you can care less for the content you will submit to other sites? The answer is that you care a lot more when you are writing for your own use. You can tackle the same argument from many angles, offer counter arguments and examples to clarify what you are trying to say. So, your original content should be covering the topic extensively.

    This will require you to research the subject carefully and consider from many different viewpoints. Now you know a lot about the topic of your writing and you can use this knowledge in your other articles.

    What Do I Mean Exactly?
    Say you are writing about great website content and how people can write it. To write an article about that you need to study a bit and find out possible ways that you will apply. You will quickly discover that there are at least thirty different ways of bringing your premium down. You will need to learn what they are and explain it to your readers.

    You will have to be extra careful when you are writing for your website. This carefulness will help you cover the basis and facts of your subject line. Now you know a lot more about your topic than before you wrote the article. Also, your original work is a lot more extensive and probably over one thousand words.

    Use Your Time Efficiently
    Your work has to be of good quality for others to consider publishing it and offering a link in return. However, you will have to write many articles and blog post and submit them to a lot of places. Some of them will not care about your work for many reasons. They may even use your idea and write a similar article themselves to avoid giving you credit. When you are writing to submit to other webmasters you cannot spend that much time on one piece for these reasons.

    The point is that you should learn how to produce quick and efficient articles and posts if you want to survive online. Content is king and you need to provide a lot of it. Let’s revisit the vehicle insurance example above. You wrote an extensive article about how you could save money on auto insurance and came up with thirty points.

    There you have thirty new article ideas and all you need to do is extend each of the topic. You can also write shorter articles to cover the subject from different angle.

    Conclusion
    By knowing how to use your time efficiently and deciding the time and effort needed for each type of writing you can avoid a lot of problems. Once you know enough about a topic you can write a five hundred words article quicker than re-writing an existing one. You should forget about spinning an article with software entirely.

    Remember that nobody wakes up one day and becomes a great writer all of a sudden. Many great writers must have disappointing works and many rejections before they wrote their masterpiece. You need to understand that you need original work each time but they don’t have to be masterpieces. You keep your good work for your own use and keep writing around the same idea to promote your sites and content.

    Come on, there's lots of people who have a good sense of text, history has seen people writing great novels at the age of twenty. And there's lot's of crappy journalists writing same stuff for dozens of years and getting no better. Like it or not some people have a special writing talent, and some do not, and working hard hard doesn't help the latter to become significantly better.

    Remember that "Walk Hard" movie by the way?

    It also helps if you are working within the field you are writing about. For example, a designer may find it easier to write about great colour choices for your website as opposed to an accountant. Even if the topic is not within your field of study or work, you can still conduct meaningful research to have enough information to write that Master article. Just takes some time though :)

    I think you need to have a passion for the craft writing and not just wanting to make money through content, although that helps:) There are many really good writers that can get their thoughts on paper easily. If it's a chore for you to write consider using audio or video.

    I believe then that person has no passion for the craft of writing. Those that have a passion, are constantly trying to make their writing better.

    You need to tell a good story. If you don't know how to tell a story, then learn. There are lots of good resources out there on how to construct prose, use literary devices, etc. Once you know how to tell a story, the platform you use (blogging, Twitter, Instagram) doesn't matter.

    Learn from the best. BBC, ect... and i guess for title is best read ads. Advertisments are cool for really attractive titles. I guess you can learn from them.

    And if you want be really popular, choose another way then rest of 10000000000 writers and offer readers some add value. :)

    There are many ways to write a story.
    If you are writing a product review and you have use that product before, you could tell them how you use it and what is your experience. Which area you like best and which area you don't. etc.
    You could also write as a third party user. Maybe you come to know this product. What makes you curious about this product, what do you think this product is good and so on.
    Or you could compare this product with another similar product and explain why do you think this product is better.. etc.
