I have heard that if you search for the keyword and write and article surrounding the keyword that this can help you get more views. Is this true?

What is the best way to write a successful article?

    Where to begin......................

To get more views to your article, you want them to rank. To get them to rank you need to find a keyword that has under 40k competitors, high search volume ( under 40k if it's Ezine ) Catchy title, then use the keyword in the article until you have a 1-2% KWD. That will help you rank the article and get more views.

For Sales, make sure you have a good resource box, and call to action. People have written thousands of articles on this...................

It doesn't necessarily have to be under 40k competition if you back link to it well enough and promote it properly. I've got a couple articles on page 1 of Google that have over 350k in competition. It depends on the work you put into it.

Build articles around strong keywords that don't have too much competition and build back links to them often. I usually copy the URLs of my articles by niche and put them into notepad files and take a day every week to back link to my articles in one niche, then the next day back link to my articles in the next niche, etc. I do that for about an hour a day. And it makes all the difference in ranking. And my articles stick in their positions.

And personally, I stay away from EzineArticles. They are too much of a pain in the ass and will decline your article for just about anything these days. I use ArticlesBase as my main directory and, yes, they do rank well.

    In your actual article the best form I have found to convert is;

    Tell them their problem
Tell them a free sample solution
Tell them theres more information available and that there's a lot of false information on other site (thats true on every subject so don't call me up on this)
Then call to action them pointing to your site as an impartial reviewing site with further free information...

    Easy as 1..2... ermm....

Correct. Usually you submit the 2nd one to another article directory and link it back to your main article. It provides a great, easy back link. And you can also build back links many other ways as welll including:

    -Blog Commenting

    -Forum Posting

    -Web 2.0 Properties/Profiles

    -Social Bookmarking

What if you post your main article on your own website? Is it just as effective? How many more back links would you need to compete with it being on an article directory?

You need to include a strong to action in your bio box ..

It's the bio box that will get you sales.. not saying that the article doesn't matter all that much either..

Tell them about the product, tell them how it can help them and finally show them your product.

So what's your 2nd directory you recommend besides Articlebase?
Do you post the same article?

    Thanks
