Hello. I am new to this forum and new to SEO. I am quite adept at making websites but not very good at promoting them so I have joined this forum to help with what I think is the hardest part of creating a website. That is making people visit and read plus enjoy there visit to your site. My question is when writing and article what format do you write the article in? Do you write it in plain text or can you write it in HTML so including good anchor links and formatting. Thank you. the-hungry-hamster
Some article sites will allow a very basic html such as <b> <strong> <i> <em> <u> <br> <pre> <blockquote> <xmp> <ol> <ul> <li>. Some don't allow any. Just depends on the site.
I tend to use just regular text with an extra space between lines for my section headlines but it is true that many of the article directories allow a lot of tags but perhaps not hyperlink tags. I know with ezinearticles you are not allowed links within the first paragraph
