Hey there, So pretty much I'm trying to get approved for a credit card merchant so I can add credit card processing to my website. Only problem is that my product is considered "high-risk" so none of the merchants will approve them. So the only thing I have thought of doing for a workaround was creating a dummy website that would sell "approved" products/similar industry that I would get approved and I would manually enter the orders through there. Only thing is my friend just did that recently and after a couple of days, his processing got shut down. He doesn't have a good recent merchant processing history because of similar products so I'm assuming that's why they shut him down but I have an absolute clean record. If you have any thoughts or know of a forum where I can get clearer answers, let me know! Thank you
You'll typically get shut down fairly quickly, especially if you get a chargeback, because it's not uncommon for the domain that the purchase was made on, to be reported by the customer.
My other friend is doing manual processing through his friend's account and it's been working like a charm. If I make a replica site with the similar website name, think it could work?
It won't work... the only reason for why your friend didn't had trouble so far is that he not received a chargeback yet. As soon as some customer do a chargeback and put in what he boguht and where the account get closed! We are not in 2003 where this worked fine we are far longer today! So it is replica business you are into right?
