Pinoy is a tagalog term which refers to Filipinos outside of The Philippines. So that language is Tagalog which is the national language of The Philippines. :)

PayPal's makes good money by freezing accounts and taking their funds if they fail to send the docs they are asking for

well it's a scam in a way, and a legit one, so what can you do?, try to work less with PayPal, find companies that aren't so arrogant

and never hold more than 100$ in your PayPal account

That is certainly not true. People normally have their accounts frozen because they are either breaking some policies or contractual agreement terms or cannot provide proof that they are genuine as you see here. Account holders can withdraw all their money after 180 days of the limitations and the only reason why the Account holder cannot withdraw it is because they provided fake name or fake address.

Break the rules and pay the price.

no it's actually true, you're just trying to be silly and piss people off by trying to defend paypal, maybe you get attention this way, i've seen this type of attitude in so many american girls, not saying that you are one, just saying that that's how some fulfill their desire for attention, you know by always stating the opposite of what others say and know

:D Come on man. Eddy just explained why People got their account blocked/Limited or suspended at Paypal ( i also got one of my account limited and i know what is the reason. i used a proxy log on;) ) and He deserves a thanks. He doesn't have any affiliate with Paypal so he need to defend or anything else but its really unfortunate to read what you just said. Does it really make some sense?

    You're an idiot

Eddy stated facts listed right on PayPal's website. PayPal in no way profits from limiting people's accounts. The funds stay in there and become available for withdrawal after 180 days - the reason people don't is because they are stupid and sign up using fake information for illegitimate purposes.

Regardless - if you get your account frozen, you are breaking PayPal's terms of service and should just do what they ask rather then posting on here asking how to get "delimited" when the answer is quite obvious

wow eddy so i see you have two usernames, good to know, i guess the OP is not the only one signing up with fake information is he?

as if the internet is supposed to be the everyday boring world we live in, actually the main reason the internet grew was because it was closer to our mind (where almost anything can happen) than to the real world, kind of pointless trying to feed your thoughts down other people's throats specially over the internet, your country is already doing that to the rest of the world specially by invading other countries isn't that enough, or you live on hypocrisy?

    Hi,

I am not eddy and I pity your attempts at self redemption, get over it. What you said was stupid - not to mention now you are going off topic.

Many of you are quick to assume that a limited paypal account means the owner is naughty (a scammmer, etc).

All new paypal accounts will go through a "limited" status (< $500) before the PayPal code is obtained (after going through several processes at PayPal's site) from the debit/credit card statement and send online to PayPal. Once it is submitted, the restriction is lifted.

No, I am not assuming that. In fact, my account got limited because I hit a certain receiving limits but it was lifted right the same day of the limitation when I submitted the requested documents. It is not difficult as long as you give them exactly what they need.

Those who cannot get their account limited may be engaging in activities which are prohibited by Paypal either in their Acceptable Usage Policy or in the contractual agreement. Examples of such activities may include using proxy to log in, using fake information (ie fake name, country or address), did not get your account verified using bank issued credit cards or bank account, engaging in currency exchanges or the likes.

It is important that when you sell goods and services, you do it through your premier or business accounts, no personal allowed for business. Make sure that you have all the proper documentations which comes associated with a typical sales such as receipts, invoices, delivery order and so on.

If you provided real name and address and cannot get your paypal limitation lifted, you will get your money back after 180 days. The only reason why you cannot get the money is if you provided fake names and fake address or engaged in extremely serious breach of paypal acceptable usage policies.

What Exactly did paypal say you did to get your account limited?
and like what was said many times on this thread just submit what paypal wants and you will have the best chance to lift the limits on your paypal account..

It was about a year ago now, the samething happened to me. I was doing dropshipping on ebay which is legal and I was using paypal for payments. Ebay had limited my account to verify my information and that I was doing everything legally and within their TOS and they later found everything was fine. Then paypal did the same exact thing I filled out all the required forms and faxed them in to paypal. I read and reread their TOS and I hadn't broke anything in it, but yet they still locked my account for some reason that I have never found out what it was and I had to wait 180 days and I had over $1000 in my account that I couldn't touch. Very frustrating and I never got a straight answer out of them. I use credit card processors now and will never open paypal again.
