Hello friends Im new in domaining and I need your advice because I recently bought this domain (brasilolympicgames2016.com) and I would like to put on auction, but I need to know some things:
I've seen in godadddy auctions this domains (brasilolympicgames.com, olympicgamesbrasil2016.com), the owners are asking $ 50,000 per domain, so...
How much can be the maximum value for my domain?
What is the best place to put it on auction?
How to guarantee that I give good deal for the domain?
    Thanks in advance...

My advice would be go get rid of this domain ASAP unless you want the Olympic committee coming after you & suing you for infringement of their TM & they are known to be quite proactive in this.

Try to sell that. Ask for the appraisal. I suppose those actions will give you imagination about domain name value

I think the price of this domain will be determined by many factors including its history and current condition.
If you want a good price, maybe you still need some luck.I mean that there should be one guy who can find
its value and would like to purchase it in a good price with you.As to this domain name itself,I don't think it's
    any special.Well,wish you good luck.

I'm not to sure about the suing thing, especially if he is able to post a quickie website up with some kind of branding with the name. nissan.com comes to mind. The other thing is that the words are a place, event, and date. Its not a service mark or trademark. I haven't done any search stats, but I think the domain would try to play off of the olympic buzz. As far as selling it, you just need to find a buyer who has a need or sees a value in it.
