Even if you visit your site now and then and don't click on the ads it's fine for Google.
It's impossible and unnatural to not visit your own site ;)

I just edit my hosts file, which means no Google ads on any site I view:

    Open C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in Notepad
Add this in at the bottom of the page:
    127.0.0.1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com

If I ever need to check what ads are showing on my site, I just comment that line out. I have nightmares about accidently clicking my ads.

    I visit my blog regularly.
Heck it's a blog, and people come there to read what I have to say so I have to be in the comment box.

Most times I just keep the comment box up and not refresh the page, though.
