    Hi Friends,
I would like to check my website in different browsers and resolutions to make sure it appears properly everywhere. I was thinking,is there any website that allows you to view how the webpage would appear across different browsers and resolutions.

I am not looking for Validator websites,i am looking for actual websites that shows you the real simualtion.

    Your help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

My favorite is browsershots.org. Sometimes the wait time is too long though (like an hour plus just to get a few shots). I used to use danvine's (http://www.danvine.com/icapture/)iCapture for safari screenshots but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. There is always (http://www.browsercam.com/)BrowserCam's 24 hour free trial...

To be honest, at this point there is NO excuse for not being able to test it FOR REAL. Places like browsershots suck when you have dynamic content or behaviors you need to test.

You can install IE 5.5, 6.0 and 7 side-by size, opera, firefox and you can now even test safari in windows - Just grab all the browsers and install them, you can't get much more accurate than that.

Also available is M$ Virtual PC, or if you are willing to pay there's vmWare and Parallels - letting you install and test other operating systems in realtime. I use M$ VPC to run XP as small fonts under a XP large fonts install so I can see both metrics.

Just install those browsers Deathshadow says and gone is your problem, no more waiting and on the fly cross-browser testing became a reality in your life too.

It´s so much easier if you can check in realtime what you´re doing on your own computer, with just a couple of mouse clicks on the refresh buttons.
