how to verify my US paypal account?

    i'm from srilanka.Srilanka can only send paypal money to others.we can't receive money.
    so i make a US paypal account through a proxy and i did some freelancing jobs and earn some money in to that US account.
    I can't use those money without verifying it.Can you tell me a way to verify my US paypal account?
    I heard there is a way called using VCC.what is that?

    you must add a card (profile-add credit card), after it was listed check in the right of your card listing, it should appear something like "verify your card" you need to have some money in your account about 2 $ if i'm not mistaking, they will refund it in your account after it was verified

    VCC = Virtual Credit Card.. vcc use to account paypal verification but I'm not sure if your US paypal account can verification with vcc..

    This is comon problem to Srilankans Paypal account Holders, If you verify your account with Credit card,Bank account still you will face same problem. You can use 2checkout for alternative option! create a account with 2co then if you have account with freelancer.com,odesk or limeexchanges.com freelance sites. just apply Payoneer master card, you will receive within 14-20 days via postal. activate 7 link your card with your 2co account.

    2co accept Paypal,ACH,Echeque,credit , debit cards payments, you can accept paypal payments via 2chcekout and request withdrawal via payoneer or bank transfer! :)
