Hi, How do you normally value a website? I've got an adult site that has made several thousand $ in revenue (and profit) since april, and although over a long period of time (3/4/5 years maybe) i can see it falling a little, the revenue won't be falling. Just doing 1 months profit * 12, which is what i've read how many sites are valued, seems quite low, as I know it can make much more than that over the next few years, but i just want to sell it so need to work out how much its worth Cheers

Deadmoon, I have a database full of old website sales at www.valueontheweb.com. we don't have many adult sites in the database, but you can still compare PR, traffic, etc. Using the code "dpoint" let's you sign up at half off. The reason websites don't sell for higher earnings multiples is that the continued success of the site isn't guaranteed. Rob
