Just out of curiosity, why only one AdSense block?

People have mentioned adbrite as being allowed with adsense. Not sure if that will fit what you are looking for. Although if you are just looking to fill header/footer/sidebar space, it may stand out too much as an ad and not get as many clicks.

I think tyrithe asks a good question, and if you have a lot of blank space available, serving more than one block of AdSense is certainly a viable option. Depending on your website's topic, you could also add affiliate ads and/or banner ads - anything that doesn't fit the "contextual advertising" category, and that doesn't mimic the look of AdSense, should be fine.

the reason why I am using only one block is that it seems adsense don't have enough ads for my site, so the second block always remain blank(or PSA). Also I am only getting around $0.05 per click that is why i am looking for alternate source. SO can you guys tell me about banners and where can I get banner advertisement ?

    Hi poseidon,

You could start with Digital Point's 'Affiliate Programs' forum. There's quite a bit of information available about affiliate programs, and you can probably find some good information on banner advertising, exchanges, etc. :)

Promote affiliate programs within the theme of your site. Go to CJ.com or Linkshare.com and you can choose from thousands of advertisers which offer all types of banners and text links.

Well I would recommend that you add more adsense units and then setup adsense alternate ads from other networks, so you don't get PSA's.

That is, I recommend sticking with adsense long term as your primary advertising providers.

DigitalPoint's Co-Op Ad Network might be something you want to consider!

    Hi poseidon,

One other thing (as an addendum to my earlier post) - Allfeeds.com has a program called 'Google Backfill', which is a simple and effective way to replace AdSense PSAs. I've used it on several of my sites where affiliate programs weren't available, and it's pretty easy to implement. You can click on the link in my signature if you'd like more information.

Those big networks are worthless (from my point of view and experience). In long years I have not made at least $100 joining together the revenue from CJ, Linkshare and Clickbank displaying their banners in over 100 websites.

Is ridiculous, but rather I got that amount in just a few days from extremepixels.com
