I see a lot of people building their site with wordpress, how can I do that?

I have several wordpress blogs, however, I want to build a site with RSS feeds, etc.

My static html sites take forever to update, I need to do something. If anyone knows a tutorial or something, a blog.

    Thank you for help.

to use wordpress as a cms instead of writing post, you would use wordpress's page feature and write pages instead of post.

I've been doing a lot of research on using Wordpress as CMS and have found a few articles and case studies that should point you in the right direction:

This is the first article in a three-part series by Alan Rimm-Kaufman detailing his company's move from a more traditional site to one run by Wordpress. Though I wasn't terribly impressed with the final results, the series of articles is excellent.

Another article by a well-known marketer, Stephan Spencer, detailing Netconcepts' move to Wordpress. Also includes a link to another Wordpress site he did for one of their clients.

A decent how-to article on turning Wordpress into a traditional CMS.

Another recently written series of articles on Wordpress as CMS.
