Most important - intimate knowledge of your site, the software running it, design, layout, everything - and the kind of users you have.

I have analytics software for my services/sites custom developed. I don't like cookie cutter software that you have to interpret and wrestle with to figure out anything important. I've used Google Analytics besides and find the custom method better, since so much more important personalized data goes into the system that Google just can't cover. If you'd like more info let me know. But that's my position... get as much in-depth knowledge of your site as possible, and use software that can handle it.

    Hi Joshua,

Thanks for your response. Actually, we are have a most popular web analytical tool, it caters with all kinds of data. But the problem we are facing is, we have to take the data and process the data into reports for taking decisions. It takes huge amount of time to create report from the web analytical tool. How to overcome this, Please Help.
