Let us say that when you embark on using Twitter to promote affiliate marketing that you should be very careful how you approach the subject. Your method if not handled properly could cause you to lose many followers. Not everyone is into affiliate marketing and some folks are totally against it. That being said I would like to give you some valuable tips that will help you in your approach to promote affiliate marketing on Twitter.

When you are going to promote affiliate marketing on your Twitter make sure that what you are advocating is relevant to the subject at hand. A link put in on a subject matter that is not relevant to the conversation will get you know where. The audience should be interested in what you are Twittering so when you link them to your web page they will not mind going there to get more information.

When you tweet, give a personal recommendation on a product. Try not to say the same thing repeatedly or people will get tired of your tweets and ignore you altogether. You can mention one good fact about the product in each tweet. That is the proper way to get people’s attention and not bore them to death. Once you have someone’s attention include the link and you have a possible effective tweet. This is how to promote affiliate marketing without over dosing your friends.

It is best to promote affiliate marketing in conversation that you are having with someone you know. Make the tweet interesting, give a genuine review of the product, and do not over brag this will enable you to keep the other people in your group on your side. You should actually write up a blog about your product so that when you do tweet you can put a link into your blog. This is less intrusive and most people will appreciate the fact that you are not trying to sell to them on the tweet. You can include your link to promote affiliate-marketing product on your blog.

You will find that listening is a key to any good message. When you are Twittering make sure that you are promoting something that your audience wants to hear. Then listen to the feedback that you are getting. When you are getting positive feedback, you can respond in a positive manner. Use your blog site to explain or promote your product and the link from your blog can be put into your Twitter conversations.

Never get into an argument in Twitter about a product. This makes for bad press for you and the product. The idea is to promote affiliate marketing that you are endeavoring to sell. You will not sell it if everyone in your group turns a negative feed. That is why you should give an honest review of the product. When you do that most of the time, others who have used the product will comply with your review.

One of the biggest problems I have with Twitter is the amount of ads. So, when I set out to use it as a promotional tool I try to keep the ads to useful posts ration to 1:5 or 1:10 depending on what I am promoting.

    thanks for the post.
The worst thing I found is sending people from Twitter directlyu ot a sales page. Very low conversion if any.
Best is to pre-qualify them: send them to a post or article on the subject and get them to click through from there.
