How to use Twitter as a backlink ?

Hi...i have registered with Twitter...have heard lately that twitter is getting to be a very good source to get traffic for ones site...i have registered however dont really know how to go about it...can someone help me with how to go about it

 

If you're using worspress there's a lot of plugin there where your blogpost will automatically be you tweet in your twitter's account and provides a backlink to your blogpost from you website.

 

you can increase your followers list, there are tons of ways to do this. later you can promote your blog/website by auto posting to twitter. It will not help in ranking or PR though

 

I wouldn't recommend trying to use twitter for backlinks. You're better building backlinks the normal way.

 

You're somehow right. The regular way is better, but it's even better if you apply different strategies like high traffic sites, in this case twitter. The only thing is not to focus only on Twitter. Change, do it on social networks as well, blogs, forums, directories, press releases. Gotta attack from everywhere.

You can do that by adding your url to your twitter profile.

 

Use twitter for traffic, not focus on the link building!
