How to use the H1 for SEO

Add your relevant keyword in H1 tag, You can also make use of the others too, like H2,H3.. Its the basic SEO tactic. Most of the people doesn't consider it, but it still works!

 

You should use H1 tag in your page heading e. g. if you are starting the page with "Internet marketing company" heading then use it as H1 tag and this will give your page utmost importance as well Google will also take it as a positive move.

 

h1 - h6 tags are representative of page headers

h1 being the strongest - h6 the weakest

As bots search for an idea of what keywords are being targeted on any given page they are obviously going to take notice of what is written in the main headline (h1)

Think of h tags in the same way a newspaper is set out. Large important headlines at the top, sub headlines below (less prominence less importance)

 

Use H1 and H2 tags before a paragraph but make sure the following text is actually relevant to the title.

I'm used to it -- I'm just wondering what the blue blazes is up with all the 5 word post re-re's who appear to be "ten post wonders" -- the one's that added nothing to this discussion and seem to have no business even opening their mouths on the subject!

Like say... 22 out of 25 posts in this thread that do nothing but make people dumber for having read them? I would almost suspect most of the respondents here are nothing more than post-whores trying to get their count up so they can spam links. Seems to be what DP is mostly about ever since the real posters all fled after the last upgrade -- there's a reason I had to add blacklisted five domains, added a user.css and a user.js just to make this site useful again... hence my nine-month or so absence.

 

We have to use only one heading tags(h1). H1 tags should be main primary keyword of page.
