How to use subdomain from godaddy on server with 1and1?

    I use 1and1 for one of my sites. I'm pointing my domain at godaddy to their name servers.

    Now I want to add a subdomain. How do I do it? I added a subdomain in my 1and1 account (external domain) (havent done anything at godaddy yet) and I connected with my ftp program to my new subdomain just as I would with the regular domain, and all my files are the same there in my subdomain as they are in my main domain.

    sub.domain.com looks the same as domain.com

    If you have pointed the nameservers than you dont have do anything in godady you just have to set the path of the sub domain in you 1and1 account

    Yeah I already figured it out. I just had to set the destination directory in 1and1 for it. Thanks though :)
