Hello, everyone of you know skype. And when you turn it on you see how many people are currently using it. These are double digit millions! I ask myself: Is there a way to make use of this traffic potential without spamming the users? Has anyone an idea?
Hey Jophan That's a great question. I've been trying to figure out a way to do it as well. So far the answer is No, there's no ACTIVE/Legal/No-spamming way to use the potential base of users. But YES you can be reactive on your marketing efforts, You can Use a Skype button on your sales/conversion page directed linked to your sales force (*even that sales is just you). You can use Skype button to your customer services homepage (it creates reliability) I've been testing on my Digital Marketing blog and so far I've been contacted by some other internet marketing bloggers. yeah I agree with Lucio, use skype to enhance your credibility. If you are easy to reach, chances are people will buy what you are selling. Also its easier to persuade someone when you are talking to them personally (as oppose through e-mail or IM)
I do not turn my Skype phone on unless I am expecting a call. I think most are like me. Massive cold calling might add restrictions. Q...
Cold Calling is very bad, but what about the chat fucntion? What about using public chats, or chat groups to generate interest? I think there are some untapped marketing opportunities with Skype

Is there such a thing as call center telemarketing companies that have there own database and and sell your product on a pay per sale comission?? I heard the philipins are also strong in the call center buisness? Dors any body know anything about this type of operations? INLIGHT ME please
if you type in "sex" or "cam" or something similiar into the skype search engine, you will find a bunch of names, whos profiles then link to paid adult cam sites. I have no idea how much traffic they are driving using this technique. P.S Don't ask me how I know this
