    Hey there,

I have a site with a postname Amazon.com Coupons. The default permalink will set it to mydomain.com/amazon-com-coupons/

Is there anyway to make it set it as mydomain.com/amazon.com-coupons/ ??

I tried using the advanced permalinks plugin, and it did work, however when I clicked on the categories in the sidebar I get a page not found error.

    Any help?

    Thanks!!!!!

i dont think there is a way , but i'd recommend you that adding a .com will not help in seo cos peopl search amazon coupons and not amazon.com coupons and amazon is a big company not a small so even if you change it to amazon-coupons it will not affect your seo

There actually is a way to do it although it involves hacking the software. Wordpress doesn't like marks like #$%^ in permalinks and strips them. If it doesn't strip them, it converts them to html safe code which will screw things up. Best bet would be to leave it as is.

And considering Google pretty much ignores marks now a days, it's really a moot issue what's in there.
