    Hey guys,

I know quite a bit about HTML coding and have made some simple websites but never used databases or had an admins panel. Can all of you help on giving me the basis of how to make an admin panel and being able to add and delete things from the database and have the things in the database to be put into a template I made and be put on the web.

Basicall a very simple CMS that can add and delete articles so I can learn from it and make websites for other people!

    Thanks if you help!!

Thanks marta, will look at the link.

PatMcCrackit, yep, I have both, I have 3 websites rightn ow all of them have it but two of them are run by scripts so I did none of the database coding but some of the template. So yes, I have cpanel and phpmyadmin on all of them and when I learn enough and make some for people I will make sure I use cpanel and phpmyadmin :D

    *Edit*
Just looked at link and none of the videos really explain anything about using the databases and learning php (if I need to) or any HTML, thanks for the link though.

Download some free scripts from http://www.hotscripts.com study the php code and try making some simple scripts. This way you will have some knowledge about writing code. Also visit php.net and mysql.org for detailed info and tutorials on php and mysql respectively.

Also since you have cpanel hosting you can use fantastico (if available) to install scripts without learning to code.

If you are new to database development then read the links above. After a while you can move on to a framework in whichever language you choose.

    Definitely check the video tutorials.
