    u can use 'only' meta information in blogspot :)
    there is no other way for SEO in blogger.

    See unlike wordpress there are no SEO plugins available for blogspot now blogger.
    The only thing you can do for SEO is adding meta tags.

    I don't think there is any necessity of meta tag in a blog.
