Not many search engines use them. All there's to it is to just pick half a dozen keywords that really describe the contents of the page. If they don't even feature on the page, don't use them as keywords.
Sure, forget doing seo or something like that ... just describe your page content in meta. That will be best.
No all the major search engines now simply ignore the Keyword Tags but still I will advice you to use the keywords tags as it never hurts you to be on the safer side. Akash Kumar
lol yes its true not alot use them, however they do use aspects of them, and keywords can mean alot trust me, put in meta tags always
The keywords metatags are not all that important but it is best still to use them. The main metatags that are importan are the Title and the Description metatags. The major search engine uses these two tags.
they are used i have been doing this since 95 and do SEO for some major players on the web trust me they all have meta tags and there are some some engines that still use them
There are better ways of SEO your site, but it only takes 5 seconds to add meta keywords, so if you have time do it.
