How to use keywords?

Discussion in 'Keywords' started by MKInfo, Apr 23, 2006.

I want to know how keywords in meta tags work best.
    Example:
    Option 1 : widgets,blue widgets,green widgets,red widgets,white widgets,purple widgets

    Option 2 : widgets,blue,green,red,white,purple

Is option one ok and not classed as keyword stuffing?
    Or is option 2 better?
    Thanks
    MK.

Keywords are better limited to 55 chars in Title tag.. not too sure for Meta but I would make it shorter :)

Its effect is reducing day by day :(

But imo option #1 is good.

I agree that Option 1 is best - and based on the number of keywords you use in your example, this wouldn't be considered keyword stuffing. Ideally, you should break them up based on page content, i.e. 'Blue Widgets' page has 'blue widgets' in meta tags, etc.

i think option one is best... your keyword will end up not relevant to your website...
