How to use Google analytics to show the most popular posts or most viewed post on a blog . Popular posts using RSS feeds and also most commented posts can be shown . But google Analytics seems to be the true measure of a blog post popularity . It would be nice if one can use analytics to show the most visited posts in a blog . Thank you .
If you are using Wordpress get Rob Marsh's Popular Post plugin. It doesn't draw the data from Google Analytics but will work in the same way you want. It's good value and fully customizable!
I think we can see most visited page views of landing page of our site in GA, not sure about most viewed comment and RSS Feed. does any one know that?? Thanks!
If you are looking for visitors for the particular post then you can search in traffic source referring sites and then search with your particular site like twitter ,blogger etc.
Go to dashboard of analytic, traffic source ,referring sites and type your particular site and filter it.
In GA click on the Content tab, then Top Content, and you can see the most popular posts on the blog.
Go to TOP CONTENT to see what posts are most popular, and then go to TOP LANDING PAGES to see what posts the most people are landing on from external sources.
