how to use G.A. to track traffic from 301 redirected domains?

I really need to track how much type-in traffic is coming in to one of my sites from the 5 domain names that are being forwarded to it...how would I be able to track this in Analytics? I don't think I've ever seen these domain names showing up on the traffic report.

Do you have an .htaccess 301 redirect setup for the domains?

I believe a few of them do - the others are being forwarded directly from Godaddy.

First of all use permanent 301 redirect from your website hosting control panel. Use g-mail>account setting>google a/c setting>analytics>Add Website Profile>add uschin tracker to your website before </body> and enjoy!

Ahh, so it's basically adding accounts for the 301'ed domain names to Analytics, and adding their tracking code to the main website?
