The only think I can think of is to put a Digg button to let your users to Digg your storied and to get more traffic and by doing so more "Do-follow" links...
there are plenty of plugins you can use to add social bookmarking to your blog a particular favourite of mine is the Sexy Bookmarks Plugin for WordPress which can be customised but has a big host of social bookmarking including post to FB, Digg, Reddit plus many more
Use your title as heading on digg submission and use this title again on description. You can see your link on google's first page on the very next day if you use your title as search term. So use nice keywords as title on digg while submitting your pages.
