it depends on..which country, what bank you use. most private banks do not work for online transactions. the debit card, of a pub sec bank, with cvc code and and expiry date work., and it differs, form sites. I give a clue hear, try with your debit card, with clickbank. in the business hrs try 2-3 times. just a small purchase. best of luck.
Yes, You can use your debit card for any king of purpose..you can use them for shopping, online payment and many ways but it should not be overdraft..
If your Debit Card has either a Visa or MasterCard logo, they are supported and treated just like a credit card. You can use it for your online payment.
Depends which country you are in Paypal accepts only US based savings account so no lucks with purchases there In India u can use any debit cards online provided your bank supports it, some banks that i know support debit card usage online are SBI, ICICI, HDFC, AXIS BANK and many more, see the option at the end when u are checking out, but then again the merchant takes u to your banks internet banking portal for account confirmation, so u need to have an internet banking enabled account for that
One should also always use verified by Visa option. That gives you more security. Your bank from which the verified by Visa was registered will ask you each time you do a transaction. Pretty cool.
It depends on which processor you are using and which country you are from yuo cannot use asian debit cards with processors
It depends. First, what country the card is in and from? Secondly, Does it have a Master Card or Visa logo on it. A debit card in the US with VISA logo on it can be used as a credit card for online payments.
The truth is that online payment processors don't care where the card is from or if it is a debit or credit card. What they look at and screen is the billing address. If the billing address is in a country they have doubts about the card will be automatically rejected. If you get a USA credit card with a billing address in some countries I could mention, you will be unable to use that card in 95% of the processors online.
I agree online payment processors don't care about the card belongs to which country, but they have some options. If your card is a master or visa card issued by any international bank you can use for online payments.
Ahh somewhat confused too. Many people says it required via or mastercard logo and many says it doen't work and varies upon different countries. My personal exeprience is that debit card is not working indeed.
If there is logo of Visa or Mastercard on your debit card, you can purchase online. If it is Maestro debit card, than no luck here. I would recommend you Visa debit card which I personally use for online purchasing. Seems even better than credit card, because you can`t spend money which you actually don`t even have. You can only spend what u have
