Hi, I think this question could be dumb but I am really still confused about how to use copyscape to check whether an article is unique...i mostly outsourced my articles but i do not have an url to host these articles...do i have to get my articles to be approved on ezines first before I can input the url(ezine url) to check the uniqueness of an article? I am perplexed.

Copyscape checks for content copy from URLs. At least that's what I remember.
If you want to check for content copy you will either need to post it somewhere and then run copyscape on the url or you can always get some random parts of the text and search for it with quotes on Google.
It's easy to find plagiarism that way.

Just log in, paste your text into the box and click 'text search'.

If you haven't paid for copyscape, all you do is upload the article to one of your domains/subdomain (assuming you have one) and then type your URL into copyscape. EX: yourdomian.com/article
